The section performs research in modeling of injection moulding on micro and macro scale. The research is based on commercially available software (Moldflow, Sigmasoft) as well as own codes.
In 2008 a formal collaboration was established with Novo Nordisk A/S regarding injection moulding using Moldflow. Novo Nordisk A/S has
donated 26.000 DKK in connection with this collaboration.
